What is the Basic SkipFit® Routine?
SkipFit® phrases are pre-choreographed skipping skills to 4 x 8 musical beats. Four phrases-A, B, C and D, are linked together to form a SkipFit® routine.
Why Learn The SkipFit® Routine?
Mastery of Phrase A, which consists only of rope turns works on your ABCs (Agility, Balance & Co-ordination), helps to eliminate many barriers such as having the wrong technique and timing. You are more likely to experience success when you eventually jump into the rope during Phrase B.
In addition, learning to skip to the tempo of popular songs not only helps with one’s timing; it is also fun and engaging!
